Stage 1:

Create a system restore point just incase if something goes wrong you can roll back to the primary settings. Make a back up copy of explorer.exe in a safe place, maybe in a different folder. aa

Set Command Prompt on Right-Click

You can either edit your registry and apply it on your computer.


1).  Start > Run

2).  Enter "regedit" and hit Enter       Expand to 



3)."HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Folder\shell"
4).   Right-click on "shell" and select New > Key

How to Disable Send To Option From Right Click Menu





Step 1:
Open Run command box and enter regedit.exe and hit enter.





Step 2:
On performing any one of the above action, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image.



Step 3:
Now you have to find a Send To file under HEKY_CLASSES_ROOT
Follow the link address given below:
            HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT >> AllFilesSystemObjects >> Shellex >> ContextmenuHandlers >> Send To



Step 4:
After finding this file right click on the file labeled as (default) and click on Modify tab in the dropdown menu.


On clicking this tab, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image. Now remove the value from the Value data tab and set it to blank and click on OK and close all the windows.


Step 5:
Now right click on any file, I hope Send To option has been disables.


 To again enable Send To tab enter the value which you had removed AND CLICK ON Ok button.
Value that need to be entered to enable Send To option in window context menu.
